Starting with the flaw, although this printer has a USB-C charging and communication socket, it will not work for either function if connected to a USB-C port at the other end. Instead it has to be connected to a USB-A port using a USB-C to USB-A cable such as the one supplied. In addition to the Bluetooth connection to a smartphone, this model can operate over USB using software, but on a Windows PC only. Bizarrely, it connects to a USB-C port correctly and is detected by the software, but fails to actually print! I think both this problem and the charging problem must be due to the printer not requesting power from the USB-C port. All it takes to do this is two resistors on the circuit board at the cost of a few cents! I hope they will eventually rectify this, produce Mac software and support their other printers such as the B18.The B1 is a direct thermal printer making it suitable for address labels and other temporary labels. For permanent labels you are better off with a thermal transfer system such as the B18. I bought both a B18 and a B1 to replace Dymo and Brother units with more compact and versatile machines using the same software and chargers. So far they meet this intention and have added portability to the equation since I can operate them from my phone when out and about.

I love this printer, I use it for spice labels and just about any other label in the pantry and laundry.

Does what it says on the tin. Great for organising.

This device is very easy to use and setup, I bought it to label all my camera gear and im really happy with the results, the app has a nice range of designs and features that let you make decent labels.you have to make sure the content on the labels is big enough as if you make it too small the pixilation becomes very apparent, however I wanted text and QR codes which worked really well for my needs.My main drawback for this item is the minimum label size, which ultimately is not that big of an issue, it just meant that I had to make labels to compensate for this and cut the labels in half.
